B.Sc Admissions: Eligibility criteria Seats Available for Admission
For the purpose of admission to the first year of the programs, available seats shall include all the sanctioned seats of the programs mentioned in institution.
Eligibility for Admission (B.Sc Course)
For the purpose of admission, a candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination in the subjects prescribed by University from time to time from.
- Candidates must passed “qualifying examination” means the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination, (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) passed in the Science Stream, from the following boards.
- The Gujarat Board;
- The Central Board of Secondary Education;
- The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi;
- The International School Board;

M.Sc Admissions (Merit Based admissions) : Eligibility criteria
M.Sc. Chemistry :
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or pharmaceutical Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale (45% marks or 5.0 CPI in a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD) candidates.
M.Sc. Biotechnology :
Applicants should have passed their Bachelor’s Degree with with a minimum of 50% marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale (45% marks or 5.0 CPI in a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD) candidates.The subjects studied at Bachelor’s level should include Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology/ Industrial Microbiology / Environmental Science compulsorily.
M.Sc. Microbiology :
Applicants should have passed their Bachelor’s Degree with with a minimum of 50% marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale (45% marks or 5.0 CPI in a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD) candidates . The subjects studied at Bachelor’s level should include Microbiology / Industrial Microbiology compulsorily.
M.Sc. Mathematics :
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree with mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale (45% marks or 5.0 CPI in a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD candidates).
M.Sc. Physics :
Applicant should pass B.Sc. Degree with Physics with a minimum of 50% marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale (45% marks or 5.0 CPI in a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD candidates).
M.Sc. IT,
Candidates seeking admission to the Master of Science (Information Technology) should have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline among B.C.A., B.Sc. (I.T.), B.Sc. (Computer Science / Applications), B.Sc. (Information Science / System), BE (IT), BE (CE/CS) with at least 50% marks. Click Here for More details
