Without any exception, the entire scope of discoveries and inventions in the science disciplines leading to technological innovations for better living has been built on the firm foundations of research in basic sciences. Understanding the fundamental nature of processes is a key to the progress of science.
The Institute of Sciences at Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya is a few years young with an energetic community of teachers, who sturdily consider that learning is a continuous process. They are dynamic and highly passionate about imparting the best quality of education, stressing both on knowledge and values. This ensures that graduating students are not only intellectually sound but also become socially responsible citizens. It is a pleasure to share pride to be amongst such vibrant staff members.
Our faculties are valuable assets, highly qualified with majority of them are M.Phil/Ph.D. Some faculties are perusing research work for their Ph. D. The college has provided them space to associate with their post doctoral research work. Many of our faculties are perusing their post doctoral research work in collaboration and with financial support of various Government agencies. As a Principal, I always believe in planning, preparation and execution with all the efforts and cooperation from my management, staff members, students and well wishers. We are aiming to do the best for the society and nation.
The infrastructure available in the institute for all-round learning is amongst the best. Apart from well-equipped laboratories, ICT enabled classrooms, library and state-of the-art computer centre, SMMPISR has career guidance, placement and counseling centre catering to overall intellectual, social as well as emotional growth and development of young minds.
Institute facilitates a number of extra curricular activities like Sarva Netruttva (A Leadership Training Programme), Youth Empowerment Programme, Women Development Activities, Science Project Exhibition, Entrepreneurship Training Programme, Open House (A Teacher-Student-Parent Meeting), Student Mentoring System, Start-up and Innovations Activities, Science & Motivational Talks, Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Research Project Grants, N.S.S., and Sports adds a feather in the cap of SMPPSIR. Apart from this, Institute Regularly organises blood donation camp and medical camps.
